Quote of the Day

We were at the grocery store yesterday....in the produce section....and Caleb says, "Look Mom! There's Junior's mom!". I looked over to what he was pointing at.....and it was asparagus!

(for those of you not up on your kids videos....or just need a hint...think Veggie Tales!)

Our Petting Zoo!

We have our own little petting zoo going on over here! (Sara is a happy camper....I just caught her wrong in this picture).

I have two bunnies now in my classroom...two French Lops. I think a biology room needs living things in it....besides plants and students. There are so many lessons involved since we plan to breed them (genetics...the miracle of life....the responsibility of taking care of them...). Let's talk about the last one. Hmm...well....a student was supposed to take care of them this summer...because...well...that is part of the deal...and ...well....we were having a baby! So here they are. Um....well....oh well. The kids love them! So we officially now have two large bunnies...my cat Mesa I have had since college....Toby our puppy...and oh...we are dog sitting! So add another dog to the picture! Alex should have really paid attention to the fact I love animals when he married me.....and should have saw a red flag! (ha! just kidding!)

Here is Mac....above. Below you can see Smokey. Oh, I forgot to mention that Toby had a girlfriend over for a weekend....and we are expecting pups! But we don't have to take care of them. We will just get the pick of the litter in September....(but we won't keep him....our petting zoo is full!)And this last picture is just for fun! I couldn't resist! Sara was being so goofy posing for the camera! She is a hoot! (oh...and i'm still working on putting more video! stay tuned!)
Here's my little Aggie!

Hannah is Three Weeks Old!

I can't believe it has been three weeks! Part of me seems like it was yesterday she was born...and the other part....feels like she has been part of the family forever. She had gained a pound and a half at her 2week check up! The doctor said "there's nothing like mama's milk!". Have I mentioned this little one likes to eat?! That's a good thing! She is eating about every two hours. She sleeps alot (something our firstborn NEVER did!) as you can see from the pictures.
Here she is with daddy (although you can't see daddy...sorry Alex!). I caught the smile!

This is us on our first walk! Oh to just get out! And there was actually sunshine that morning! So we took advantage of it! The whole fam went for a nice walk... (shh....don't tell my doctor! i'm supposed to wait another week or so!). But cabin fever was setting in....I just had to get out! So did the kids!

Our first trip with all three!!! Now the family of five! We have been to the grocery store...and to our check ups with our doctors (me and Hannah).

Hannah in her crib (which was once Caleb's and Sara's too!) Oh the beauty of hand me downs!

Trying to get a little bit of sun to get rid of her jaundice. All three were born with a little. If only the sun were out more....
Wow! Three wonderful weeks with our kiddos! The adjustment still continues to go well for the kids. Mommy is trying to figure out the rhythm of three....especially around the dinner hour....with baths...cooking dinner....and Hannah needing to be held at that time too. But I am getting the groove.....little by little! Stay tuned for more video clips!!!

A Birthday Song....from Big Brother

Caleb spontaneously sang his version of "Happy Birthday" to his new baby sister when she was born! I just figured out how to put on a video...so I thought I would share this with everyone !!

What a sweet big brother!

Hannah is two weeks old!

Look at these happy kiddos! They love their baby sister! I haven't posted since Hannah was born...because I don't know what to say! Life here ...is well...just simple. Just day to day stuff...being with the kiddos. Just trying to keep the house afloat....cleaning, making sure the fam is fed etc...(and feeding Hannah A LOT!). So nothing too exciting to report. It has been raining here for about two weeks straight...so the kids are kind of getting cabin fever...and so is mommy for that matter! But once Hannah is three weeks or so we will feel more comfortable taking her out and about a bit. Alex is back to work full force, but it was nice to have him home the first week. He was such an amazing help!
All Sara wants to do is hold Hannah and kiss her. It's really sweet.

Hannah is a really easy going baby. She was the calmest in the womb as well (out of the three).

This is a picture of the BEAUTIFUL arrangement of flowers our neighbor gave to us the day we got home from the hospital. They were absolutely amazing! What a sweet, dear neighbor we have!
and she sleeps........what is that by the way? sleep??
