We have our own little petting zoo going on over here! (Sara is a happy camper....I just caught her wrong in this picture).
I have two bunnies now in my classroom...two French Lops. I think a biology room needs living things in it....besides plants and students. There are so many lessons involved since we plan to breed them (genetics...the miracle of life....the responsibility of taking care of them...). Let's talk about the last one. Hmm...well....a student was supposed to take care of them this summer...because...well...that is part of the deal...and ...well....we were having a baby! So here they are. Um....well....oh well. The kids love them! So we officially now have two large bunnies...my cat Mesa I have had since college....Toby our puppy...and oh...we are dog sitting! So add another dog to the picture! Alex should have really paid attention to the fact I love animals when he married me.....and should have saw a red flag! (ha! just kidding!)
Here is Mac....above. Below you can see Smokey. Oh, I forgot to mention that Toby had a girlfriend over for a weekend....and we are expecting pups! But we don't have to take care of them. We will just get the pick of the litter in September....(but we won't keep him....our petting zoo is full!)
